The members of the BBE group have a shared research interest in behavioral and experimental economics and are affiliated with one of the Berlin-based institutions conducting economic research (i.e. DIW Berlin, WZB Berlin Social Science Center, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin, Freie Universität Berlin, and University of Potsdam). The BBE group also cooperates with CRC TTR 190: Rationality & Competition and the Berlin Macroeconomics Network.

BBE Colloquium and Seminar

The activities of the group include the organization of workshops, as well as the regular Berlin Behavioral Economics Colloquium and Seminar Series, which is a weekly seminar series hosting talks by leading academics in behavioral and experimental economics. The series also aims to foster stronger links and the exchange of ideas between active researchers in the areas of behavioral and experimental economics within the wider Berlin community.

The 2024 winter semester series will take place at the HU Berlin, Theologische Falkutät, Burgstr. 26, 10178 Berlin, Room 008. The seminars will be held on Thursdays from 2:00 – 3:00 pm and 3:30 – 4:30 pm.
